A portable weapon assembly comprising a receiver made in a single polymer body without any inner metallic structural element; said assembly having an inner cavity.

A portable weapon assembly comprising:
- a receiver, said receiver being made in a single polymer body without any inner metallic structural element;
- said assembly having an inner cavity;
- and
- a shaped plate arranged between sides of said receiver and of a breech and configured to reduce the contact pressure, said plate being mounted in interference fit on said breech.
