A fan cover comprising:

• a cover body;
• an elastic band;
• an insert-retaining pocket;
• at least one scent-modifying insert;
• a fabric wash indicator;
• the cover body comprising a body center, an outer body edge, a proximal face, and a distal face;
• the insert-retaining pocket comprising a pocket opening and a pocket flap;
• the pocket flap comprising a free flap edge and a fixed flap edge;
• the cover body and the insert-retaining pocket being made of a silver-impregnated antimicrobial mesh fabric;
• the elastic band being integrated along the outer body edge;
• the insert-retaining pocket being positioned in between the body center and the outer body edge;
• the insert-retaining pocket being positioned offset from the body center and the outer body edge;
• the insert-retaining pocket being connected onto the distal face;
• the at least one scent-modifying insert being positioned within the insert-retaining pocket;
• the pocket opening being oriented towards the outer body edge;
• the pocket flap being positioned adjacent to the pocket opening;
• the fixed flap edge being connected onto the distal face;
• the free flap edge being positioned offset to the pocket opening;
• and
• the fabric wash indicator being mounted onto the distal face.
