Abstract
A vapor chamber includes a main body sheet having a first main body surface and a second main body surface provided on an opposite side to the first main body surface, a space provided on the first main body surface of the main body sheet, a first sheet laminated on the first main body surface of the main body sheet and covering the space, and a retracted portion retracted toward the space beyond an outer periphery of the main body sheet or an outer periphery of the first sheet in a plan view.
Claims23
A main body sheet for a vapor chamber in which a working fluid is filled, the main body sheet comprising:
- a first main body surface;
- a second main body surface provided on an opposite side to the first main body surface;
- a frame of the main body sheet;
- a space that is provided on the first main body surface and between the first and second main body surfaces, is provided inside the frame, and is filled with the working fluid, wherein:
- a lower sheet is laminated on an opposite surface of the first main body surface,
- an outermost edge of the lower sheet and an outermost edge of the first main body surface are positioned inward toward the space from an outermost edge of the main body sheet in a sectional view along a thickness direction, so as to form a retracted portion in an outer peripheral contour defined by the outermost edge of the lower sheet, the outermost edge of the first main body surface and the outermost edge of the main body sheet, such that the retracted portion is a portion retracted by the outermost edge of the lower sheet and the outermost edge of the first main body surface from the outermost edge of the main body sheet, and
- the retracted portion is positioned to not overlap with any space provided on the first main body surface and filled with the working fluid, along the thickness direction.
A vapor chamber in which a working fluid is filled, the vapor chamber comprising:
- a main body sheet having a first main body surface and a second main body surface provided on an opposite side to the first main body surface;
- a space that is provided on the first main body surface of the main body sheet and between the first and second main body surfaces, and is filled with the working fluid, wherein:
- a lower sheet is laminated on an opposite surface of the first main body surface of the main body sheet and covering the space;
- and
- an outermost edge of the lower sheet and an outermost edge of the first main body surface are positioned inward toward the space from an outermost edge of the main body sheet in a sectional view along a thickness direction, so as to form a retracted portion in an outer peripheral contour defined by the outermost edge of the lower sheet, the outermost edge of the first main body surface and the outermost edge of the main body sheet, such that the retracted portion is a p of tion retracted by the outermost edge of the lower sheet and the outermost edge of the first main body surface from the outermost edge of the main body sheet, and
- wherein the retracted portion includes a main body sheet retracted portion provided in the main body sheet and retracted toward the space beyond the outermost edge of the lower sheet in the sectional view, and
- the retracted portion does not overlap with any space that is provided on the first main body surface and is filled with the working fluid, in the thickness direction.
