Abstract
A lipid nanoparticle (LNP) composition is provided. The composition includes a messenger RNA (mRNA) molecule; a lipid carrier system; and a toll-like receptor (TLR) antagonist.
Claims9
A method for preparing a liposome-lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation, the method comprising:
- forming liposomes, wherein the liposomes are formed from palmitoyloleoylphosphatidylglycerol (POPG);
- preparing an LNP formulation comprising an mRNA molecule;
- sonicating the liposomes to achieve a desired size distribution before combining with the LNP formulation;
- and
- generating a liposome-LNP formulation by incorporating the liposomes into the LNP formulation.
