Method for roasting coffee beans

A method to determine a roasting recipe for roasting a customised blend of coffee beans introduced in a chamber of a roasting apparatus, the recipe providing a temperature to be applied at discrete successive times respectively, the method comprising the steps of:

• obtaining for each type of coffee beans comprised in the customised blend at least:
• a type of the each type of coffee beans, and
• a quantity mn of the each type of coffee beans introduced in the chamber, and based on the each type of coffee beans comprised in the blend, getting access at least to:
• roasting recipes of the each type of coffee beans respectively, each of the roasting recipes being adapted to the roasting of one pre-determined quantity of beans of same type and providing the temperatures to be applied at discrete successive times respectively, and
• temperature adaptation factors of the each type of coffee beans respectively of the customised blend, and
• based on the quantities mn of the each type of coffee beans and the roasting recipes and temperature adaptation factors, determining the roasting recipe to be applied to said customised blend of coffee beans introduced inside the chamber.
