Abstract
The invention relates to compositions comprising a curable polymer and at least one silane compound having at least one hydrolysable group and at least one heteroatom bridged to a silicon atom via a sp2-hybridized quaternary carbon atom, as defined herein, as well as adhesive, sealing, and coating material comprising the composition and the use of such compositions.
Claims18
A curable composition comprising
- (A) at least one curable polymer;
- (B) at least one silane compound of general formula (I) containing at least one heteroatom bridged to a silicon atom via a sp2-hybridized quaternary carbon atom
- wherein
- n is 1, 2 or 3;
- m is 1 or 2;
- k is 0 or 1, wherein the sum of n, m, and k is 4;
- and
- q is an integer selected from 0 to 3;
- each R1 is independently selected from a hydrolyzable group,
- each R4 is independently selected from hydrogen or a linear or branched, substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms which optionally contain at least one heteroatom;
- X is a divalent or polyvalent heteroatom;
- each R5 is independently hydrogen, or a linear or branched, substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms which optionally contain at least one heteroatom;
- R2 is a linear or branched, substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms which optionally contain at least one heteroatom,
- R3 is hydrogen or a linear or branched, substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms which optionally contain at least one heteroatom, or R2 and R3 combine to form a cyclic structure;
- and
- (C) optionally at least one curing catalyst.
