Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a coating composition, comprising: —a resin component containing an epoxy resin and a petroleum resin; —zinc particles in an amount of at least 65 wt.-%, based on the total solid weight of the coating composition; —a metallic salt of phosphorous acid; and —a hardener. In addition, the present disclosure also relates to a multi-part coating form of said coating composition, a method for preparing the coating composition and a substrate coated with the coating composition.

A coating composition, comprising:
- a resin component comprising an epoxy resin and a petroleum resin;
- zinc particles in an amount of at least 75 wt.-%, based on the total solid weight of the coating composition;
- a metallic salt of phosphorous acid;
- and
- a hardener,
- wherein the weight ratio of the metallic salt of phosphorous acid to zinc particles is 1:25 to 1:45.

A coating composition, comprising:
- a resin component comprising an epoxy resin and a petroleum resin;
- zinc particles in an amount of at least 75 wt.-%, based on the total solid weight of the coating composition;
- a metallic salt of phosphorous acid;
- and
- a hardener, wherein said epoxy resin includes both liquid type epoxy resin and solid type epoxy resin, and
- wherein the amount of said liquid type epoxy resin is 0.5 to 15 wt.-% and the amount of said solid type epoxy resin is 1 to 20 wt.-% based on total weight of the coating composition.
