Abstract
The present application relates to a coated fabric and an air bag comprising the same.
Claims13
A coated fabric comprising:
- a fibrous substrate (A), and a coating layer (B) formed on the fibrous substrate,
- wherein the coating layer comprises a binder resin and a filler,
- wherein the filler is dispersed in the coating layer,
- wherein the filler comprises agglomerates of chopped ceramic fibers having a size in the range of 0.1 to 2.0 mm,
- wherein a coating amount of the coating layer to one layer of the fibrous substrate is 50 gsm to 100 gsm, and
- wherein the coated fabric has a weight of 280 g/m2 to 350 g/m2.

A method for preparing a coated fabric comprising:
- coating a coating composition comprising a binder resin and a filler onto a fibrous substrate and then curing the coated composition to form a coating layer,
- wherein the filler comprises agglomerates of chopped ceramic fibers having a size in the range of 0.1 to 2.0 mm,
- wherein a coating amount of the coating layer to one layer of the fibrous substrate is 50 gsm to 100 gsm, and
- wherein the coated fabric has a weight of 280 g/m2 to 350 g/m2.
