Abstract
A water heater includes a hollow body having an inlet and an outlet, a heating element arranged within the hollow body, a cavity formed between a heating surface of the heating element and an interior surface of the hollow body, an outlet tube, and an adapter sleeve. The outlet tube extends externally from the outlet of the hollow body towards the inlet of the hollow body for depositing heated fluid within the fluid tank, wherein the outlet tube is in fluid communication with the inlet of the hollow body. The adapter sleeve arranged at a lower end of the hollow body, wherein the inlet of the hollow body is arranged in the adapter sleeve.
Claims18
A heater comprising:
- a hollow body configured to couple to an interior of a fluid tank, the hollow body having an inlet and an outlet that is in fluid communication with the inlet, the inlet being spaced away from the outlet;
- a heating element arranged within the hollow body, the heating element having a heating surface configured to heat fluid flowing through the hollow body;
- a cavity formed between the heating surface of the heating element and an interior surface of the hollow body;
- an outlet tube extending externally from the outlet of the hollow body towards the inlet of the hollow body for depositing heated fluid within the fluid tank, wherein the outlet tube is in fluid communication with the inlet of the hollow body;
- and
- an adapter sleeve arranged at a lower end of the hollow body, wherein the inlet of the hollow body is arranged in the adapter sleeve.
A heater comprising:
- a hollow body having an inlet and an outlet that is in fluid communication with the inlet, wherein the hollow body comprises a first coupling portion configured to couple the hollow body to a tank;
- a second coupling portion threadably connected to the first coupling portion;
- a heating element removably arranged within an interior of the hollow body, the heating element being connected to the second coupling portion of the hollow body, the heating element having a heating surface configured to heat fluid flowing through the hollow body;
- and
- an outlet tube extending externally from the outlet of the hollow body,
- wherein the inlet is defined in the first coupling portion.
A heater comprising:
- a hollow body having an inlet and an outlet that is in fluid communication with the inlet, the inlet located at a bottom end of the hollow body and the outlet spaced away from the inlet towards a top end of the hollow body;
- a heating element removably arranged within an interior of the hollow body, the heating element being threadably connected to the hollow body at the bottom end of the hollow body, the heating element having a heating surface configured to heat fluid flowing through the hollow body;
- an outlet tube extending externally from the outlet of the hollow body towards the inlet of the hollow body for depositing heated fluid, wherein the is in fluid communication with the inlet of the hollow body;
- and
- an adapter sleeve arranged at the bottom end of the hollow body, wherein the inlet of the hollow body is arranged in the adapter sleeve.
