Multi-factor authentication for premises monitoring systems

A system, comprising:

• at least one computing device comprising:
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory storing computing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one computing device to:
• receive, from a third-party computing environment, first authentication data that indicates a person captured on video by a premises device located at a premises is a recognized person that is known to the third-party computing environment;
• receive, from the third-party computing environment, second authentication data indicating a verbal passcode of audio spoken by the person that is captured by the premises device;
• authenticate the person based on:
• the indication in the first authentication data that the person is a recognized person;
• and
• a determination that the verbal passcode indicated in the second authentication data corresponds to a predefined passcode associated with the recognized person;
• determine that the person is permitted access to the premises according to an access policy;
• and
• in response to authenticating the person and determining that the person is permitted access to the premises, cause a lock securing an access point of the premises to unlock.

A method implemented by a system, the system comprising at least one computing device, the method comprising:

• receiving, from a third-party computing environment, first authentication data that indicates a person captured on video by a premises device located at a premises is a recognized person that is known to the third-party computing environment;
• receiving, from the third-party computing environment, second authentication data indicating a verbal passcode of audio spoken by the person that is captured by the premises device;
• authenticating the person based on:
• the indication in the first authentication data that the person is a recognized person;
• and
• a determination that the verbal passcode indicated in the second authentication data corresponds to a predefined passcode associated with the recognized person;
• determining that the person is permitted access to the premises according to an access policy;
• and
• in response to authenticating the person and determining that the person is permitted access to the premises, causing a lock securing an access point of the premises to unlock.
