Apparatus for dosing detergent, container for receiving and dosing powder detergent and/or liquid detergent, and corresponding system

A device for dispensing a medium, the device comprising:

• a housing comprising a first receiving area that is configured to receive a first container for storing the medium;
• and
• a first dosing device configured to dose the medium, wherein:
• the first dosing device comprises a dosing device housing and a metering device disposed in the dosing device housing,
• the first receiving area comprises a dosing device receiving area for receiving the first dosing device,
• an actuating and/or drive device for the first dosing device is arranged in the dosing device receiving area external to the dosing device housing, wherein the actuating and/or drive device is configured to operatively align with, detachably connect to, and drive the metering device when the first dosing device is disposed within the first receiving area,
• the first container and the first dosing device are:
• connected or connectable to each other to form a functional disposable unit for containing and dosing the medium;
• each selectively or together replaceable;
• and
• designed as at least one disposable article,
• the first container is pre-filled with the medium,
• the first dosing device and/or the first container comprises at least one closure or flap element configured to selectively close the first dosing device and/or the first container, and
• the first dosing device and/or the first container comprises contact surfaces configured to slide along respective guide elements of the housing when the functional disposable unit is received in the first receiving area so that the guide elements position the first dosing device in a defined coupling position with the actuating and/or drive device.
