An article of jewelry comprising a chamber filled with a substantially transparent liquid into which chamber at least one decorative element assembly comprising a support holding at least one precious or semi-precious element is immersed, characterized in that the support has a refractive index which is substantially the same as the substantially transparent liquid so as to be substantially optically invisible therein.
