Abstract
In a rendering method, a target mesh corresponding to a pixel in a current viewplane is determined in a process of rendering a current frame of the application, a historical rendering result of the target mesh that is obtained in a process of rendering a historical frame of the application is obtained, and a current rendering result of the pixel is calculated based on the historical rendering result of the target mesh. According to the rendering method, the current rendering result is calculated by reusing the historical rendering result.
Claims20
A rendering method comprising:
- determining, in a first process of rendering a current frame of an application, a target mesh corresponding to a pixel in a current viewplane, wherein the application comprises at least one model, and wherein each of the at least one model comprises a plurality of meshes;
- obtaining a historical rendering result of the target mesh that is from a second process of rendering a historical frame of the application, wherein the historical rendering result comprises a color of emergent rays of the target mesh;
- and
- using the historical rendering result to calculate, based on a threshold and a sample quantity corresponding to the historical rendering result, a first current rendering result of the pixel.
A rendering engine comprising:
- a memory configured to store instructions;
- and
- one or more processors coupled to the memory and configured to execute the instructions to:
- determine, in a first process of rendering a current frame of an application, a target mesh corresponding to a pixel in a current viewplane, wherein the application comprises at least one model, and wherein each model comprises a plurality of meshes;
- obtain a historical rendering result of the target mesh that is from a second process of rendering a historical frame of the application, wherein the historical rendering result comprises a color of emergent rays of the target mesh;
- and
- use the historical rendering result to calculate, based on a threshold and a sample quantity corresponding to the historical reading result, a first current rendering result of the pixel.
A computer program product comprising instructions stored on a non-transitory computer-readable medium that, when executed by one or more processors, cause an electronic device to:
- determine, in a first process of rendering a current frame of an application, a target mesh corresponding to a pixel in a current viewplane, wherein the application comprises at least one model, and wherein each model comprises a plurality of meshes;
- obtain a historical rendering result of the target mesh that is from a second process of rendering a historical frame of the application, wherein the historical rendering result comprises a color of emergent rays of the target mesh;
- and
- use the historical rendering result to calculate, based on a threshold and a sample quantity corresponding to the historical rendering result, a first current rendering result of the pixel.
