System and method for third party application activity data collection

A system for collecting third party application activity data on users for a website, said system comprising:

• a processor;
• a hub running on said processor configured to receive at least one activity message from 2-way communication between a website and at least one third party application included as an instance in said website and hosted on a third party application provider server, wherein an activity message comprises a descriptive address of said at least one third party application and information associated with an interaction of a user of said website with said at least one third party application and identification information of said user of said website;
• a user identifier configured to identify a user associated with said activity message according to said identification information;
• a sequence creator configured to start a sequence of activity messages associated with said identified user by storing the activity message in a database as a first message of a sequence if said user is identified for the first time;
• a sequence merger configured to add said activity message to an existing sequence of stored activity messages associated with said identified user if the user was identified previously;
• and
• a data merger configured to store a plurality of activity streams associated with said identified user in said database.
