Information display mechanism, timepiece movement, and timepiece

An information display mechanism comprising:

• an annular display wheel which has a plurality of inner teeth, wherein the annular display wheel has indications of days of a month arranged circularly in series along the annular display wheel, and further wherein the plurality of inner teeth includes a regulatory protrusion formed differently from a rest of the plurality of inner teeth and positioned at a particular location in the series;
• a driving wheel having a plurality of outer teeth configured to mesh with the inner teeth of the annular display wheel;
• and
• a motor operable to rotate the driving wheel to thereby rotate the annular display wheel, wherein the regulatory protrusion of the annular display wheel is formed such that an engagement of one of the plurality of outer teeth of the driving wheel with the regulatory protrusion locks the annular display wheel from rotating in a first direction, and wherein the motor is operable to rotate the annular display wheel in a second direction opposite to the first direction to free the annular display wheel from being locked with said one of the plurality of outer teeth of the driving wheel.
