Abstract
A system includes a data interface that receives data associated with a plurality of wells; an inference engine that receives and analyzes at least a portion of the data to generate results; and a communication engine that outputs information based at least in part on the results.
Claims17
A method comprising:
- controlling of a display to render a graphical user interface that presents at least a formula tool utilized to generate at least one performance indicator, wherein the graphical user interface operates to identify one or more sensor data channels for the at least one performance indicator using one or more of a user defined function tool and a sensor data channel selection tool, wherein the one or more sensor data channels correspond to one or more sensors of a wellsite system;
- determining a benchmark using the at least one performance indicator and a simulation utility configured to evaluate drilling hydraulics corresponding to a simulated downhole condition during a planned operation associated with drilling of a well according to a well plan, wherein the planned operation includes a tripping operation at a planned tripping speed, and wherein the benchmark comprises a tripping speed;
- accessing the one or more sensor data channels during execution of the planned operation;
- during the execution of the planned operation, receiving data of the one or more sensor data channels in real-time to compute at least one real-time performance indicator;
- and
- determining, using the at least one real-time performance indicator, at least one deviation from the benchmark, wherein a control system is configured to adjust at least movement of pipe associated with the execution of the planned operation based on the at least one deviation.

A system comprising:
- a processor;
- memory accessible by the processor;
- and
- processor-executable instructions stored in the memory and executable to instruct the system to:
- control a display to render a graphical user interface that presents at least a formula tool utilized to generate at least one performance indicator, wherein the graphical user interface operates to identify one or more sensor data channels for the at least one performance indicator using one or more of a user defined function tool and a sensor data channel selection tool, wherein the one or more sensor data channels correspond to one or more sensors of a wellsite system;
- determine a benchmark using the at least one performance indicator and a simulation utility configured to evaluate drilling hydraulics corresponding to a simulated downhole condition during a planned operation associated with drilling of a well according to a well plan, wherein the planned operation includes a tripping operation at a planned tripping speed, and wherein the benchmark comprises a tripping speed;
- access the one or more sensor data channels during execution of the planned operation;
- during the execution of the planned operation, receive data of the one or more sensor data channels in real-time to compute at least one real-time performance indicator;
- and
- determine, using the at least one real-time performance indicator, at least one deviation from the benchmark, wherein a control system is configured to adjust at least movement of pipe associated with the execution of the planned operation based on the at least one deviation.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that when executed by a computer, which includes a processor, cause the processor to:
- control a display to render a graphical user interface that presents at least a formula tool utilized to generate at least one performance indicator, wherein the graphical user interface operates to identify one or more sensor data channels for the at least one performance indicator using one or more of a user defined function tool and a sensor data channel selection tool, wherein the one or more sensor data channels correspond to one or more sensors of a wellsite system;
- determine a benchmark using the generated at least one performance indicator and a simulation utility configured to evaluate drilling hydraulics corresponding to a simulated downhole condition during a planned operation associated with drilling of a well according to a well plan, wherein the planned operation includes a tripping operation at a planned tripping speed, and wherein the benchmark comprises a tripping speed;
- access the one or more sensor data channels during execution of the planned operation;
- during the execution of the planned operation, receive data of the one or more sensor data channels in real-time to compute at least one real-time performance indicator;
- and
- determine, using the at least one real-time performance indicator, at least one deviation from the benchmark, wherein a control system is configured to adjust at least movement of pipe associated with the execution of the planned operation based on the at least one deviation.
