A novel maize variety designated X84T006 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X84T006 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X84T006 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X84T006, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X84T006 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X84T006 and methods of using maize variety X84T006 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize X84T006 produced by crossing a first plant of maize line PH48YB with a second plant of maize line 1PLUG57, wherein representative seeds of the maize lines PH48YB and 1PLUG57 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-126606 and NCMA Accession Number 202207024, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize X84T006 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of maize line PH48YB with a second plant of maize line 1PLUG57, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, wherein representative seeds of the maize lines PH48YB and 1PLUG57 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-126606 and NCMA Accession Number 202207024, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize X84T006 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of maize line PH48YB with a second plant of maize line 1PLUG57, representative seeds of the maize lines PH48YB and 1PLUG57 having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-126606 and NCMA Accession Number 202207024, respectively, wherein at least one of the maize lines PH48YB and 1PLUG57 further comprises the locus conversion.
