Dynamic asset addition management of a set of assets

A method for grouping assets, comprising:

• obtaining data associated with one or more tasks being performed by a set of assets, wherein the set of assets comprises a plurality of drones, and the drones are at least semi-autonomous, and wherein the data associated with one or more tasks includes adding an additional task to the one or more tasks;
• determining to modify the set of assets based at least in part on the data associated with the one or more tasks, wherein determining to modify includes:
• determining one or more capabilities associated with one or more remaining tasks including the additional task;
• determining a required redundancy of the one or more capabilities associated with the one or more remaining tasks including the additional task;
• and
• determining that one or more drone capabilities respectively associated with the set of assets does not satisfy the required redundancy of the one or more capabilities associated with the one or more remaining tasks including the additional task;
• in response to determining to modify the set of assets:
• determining a modification to the set of assets based at least in part on (i) the required redundancy of the one or more capabilities associated with the one or more remaining tasks including the additional task, and (ii) one or more drone capabilities respectively associated with the set of assets, wherein the modification includes adding an additional drone to the set of assets;
• communicating, via a communication interface, an instruction to at least the additional drone, the instruction indicating the modification to the set of assets;
• and
• responsive to communicating the instruction, modifying the set of assets to include the additional drone.

A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising computer instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, performs:

• obtaining data associated with one or more tasks being performed by a set of assets, wherein the set of assets comprises a plurality of drones, and the plurality of drones is at least semi-autonomous, and wherein the data associated with one or more tasks includes adding an additional task to the one or more tasks;
• determining to modify the set of assets based at least in part on the data associated with the one or more tasks, wherein determining to modify includes:
• determining one or more capabilities associated with one or more remaining tasks including the additional task;
• determining a required redundancy of the one or more capabilities associated with the one or more remaining tasks including the additional task;
• and
• determining that one or more drone capabilities respectively associated with the set of assets does not satisfy the required redundancy of the one or more capabilities associated with the one or more remaining tasks including the additional task;
• in response to determining to modify the set of assets:
• determining a modification to the set of assets based at least in part on (i) the required redundancy of the one or more capabilities associated with the one or more remaining tasks including the additional task, and (ii) one or more drone capabilities respectively associated with the set of assets, wherein the modification includes adding an additional drone to the set of assets;
• communicating, via a communication interface, an instruction to at least the additional drone, the instruction indicating the modification to the set of assets;
• and
• responsive to communicating the instruction, modifying the set of assets to include the additional drone.
