Protective cover for electric vehicle

A protective cover for an electric vehicle comprising:

• a main body to selectively fit over at least an upper portion of the electric vehicle, including over an electric charging port of the electric vehicle, the main body comprising
• a forward portion for covering at least a portion of a front body panel of the vehicle and a handlebar assembly of the vehicle;
• and
• a rearward portion for covering a straddle seat of the vehicle;
• a shroud located on the main body so as to be proximate to the charging port when the protective cover is installed on the electric vehicle, the shroud operable between a stowed position and a deployed position, the shroud being substantially flush with the main body when in the stowed position and extending beyond an exterior surface of the main body when in the deployed position, the shroud including an opening accessible when in the deployed position to receive at least a portion of a charging gun through the opening to enable the charging gun to be inserted into the charging port.
