Mobile fire-fighting assembly

A mobile fire-fighting assembly (100) configured for movement with an aircraft, comprising:

• a fire extinguisher unit (200) having a support structure (210), at least one motorized hose reel (220) accommodating a hose (223) and a controllable nozzle unit (230) arranged to a first end of the hose (223);
• and
• a water supply unit (300) having at least one water pump (320) connected to a second end of the hose (223), wherein
• the water supply unit (300) is configured to be detachably arranged to the support structure (210) thereby enabling (i) the fire extinguisher unit (200) and water supply unit (300) to be movable together as one unit when the water supply unit (300) is attached to the support structure (210), and (ii) the fire extinguisher unit (200) to be movable separate from the water supply unit (300) when the water supply unit (300) is detached from the support structure (210) and deployed at a water source, and
• the water supply unit (300) is configured to supply water to the fire extinguisher unit (200) when the water supply unit (300) is detached and separated from the support structure (210) and deployed at the water source remote from the fire extinguisher unit (200).
