Cross-radio configuration for positioning and sensing

A method for transmitting a reference signal based on a cross-radio uplink resource, comprising:

• receiving radio resource configuration information indicating a resource set including a plurality of reference signal resources configured to be transmitted by a low-power wake-up radio or a main radio and each corresponding to one of a positioning reference signal or a sensing reference signal;
• selecting, for each one of the plurality of reference signal resources, one of the low-power wake-up radio or the main radio to transmit the reference signal resource based on the radio resource configuration information;
• and
• transmitting the plurality of reference signal resources.

An apparatus, comprising:

• a memory;
• at least one transceiver;
• at least one processor communicatively coupled to the memory and the at least one transceiver, and configured to:
• receive radio resource configuration information indicating a resource set including a plurality of reference signal resources configured to be received by a low-power wake-up radio or a main radio and each corresponding to one of a positioning reference signal or a sensing reference signal;
• select, for each one of the plurality of reference signal resources, one of the low-power wake-up radio or the main radio to receive the reference signal resource based on the radio resource configuration information;
• and
• obtain one or more measurements based on the plurality of reference signal resources.

An apparatus, comprising:

• a memory;
• at least one transceiver;
• at least one processor communicatively coupled to the memory and the at least one transceiver, and configured to:
• receive radio resource configuration information indicating a resource set including a plurality of reference signal resources configured to be transmitted by a low-power wake-up radio or a main radio and each corresponding to one of a positioning reference signal or a sensing reference signal;
• select, for each one of the plurality of reference signal resources, one of the low-power wake-up radio or the main radio to transmit the reference signal resource based on the radio resource configuration information;
• and
• transmit the plurality of reference signal resources.
