Abstract
A marine bunker fuel composition is disclosed. The composition is compliant with fuel standard ISO 8217—2017 Table 2 and contains at least 70 vol % of a marine fuel oil blendstock and from 1 vol % to 30 vol % of a fatty acid alkyl ester.
Claims10
A marine bunker fuel composition consisting of:
- (a) at least 70 vol % of a petroleum-based marine fuel oil blendstock, wherein the petroleum-based marine fuel oil blendstock is a resid-containing fuel oil;
- and
- (b) from 1 vol % to 30 vol % of a fatty acid alkyl ester;
- wherein the marine bunker fuel composition is compliant with fuel standard ISO 8217—2017 Table 2.
