Abstract
An assembly contains a disconnecting device for a surge-arresting device. A first contact and a second contact of the disconnecting device are connected by a first path having a switching element which can be thermally tripped. A second path is disposed electrically in parallel with the first path. An impedance element is disposed in the second path. A spark gap is disposed in the first path.
Claims17
An assembly, comprising:
- a disconnecting device for a surge-arresting device, said disconnecting device containing:
- a first contact;
- a second contact;
- a first path disposed between said first contact and said second contact, said first path having a switching element being thermally tripped, wherein a spark gap is disposed in said first path, wherein said switching element has a thermally actuatable rupture joint, a first switching section and a second switching section, said first and said second switching sections are mutually connected in an electrically conductive manner via said thermally actuatable rupture joint;
- and
- a second path disposed electrically parallel to said first path and having an impedance element, said second path disposed between said first contact and said second contact.
