Abstract
A device for applying adhesive composition to biological tissue and/or prosthetic material includes a flexible body, wherein the body has an upper surface that includes a first shoulder defining a first recess. The body is adapted to be folded on itself in a folded position in which the body defines a channel and in which the first recess forms an annular gap between the upper surface and the biological tissue and/or prosthetic material when the biological tissue and/or prosthetic material is positioned in the channel.
Claims18
A device for applying adhesive composition to biological tissue or prosthetic material, the device comprising a flexible body, wherein:
- the body has a first longitudinal edge, a second longitudinal edge and an upper surface comprising a first shoulder defining a first recess,
- the body is adapted to be folded on itself in a folded position in which the body defines a channel and said first recess is configured to form an annular gap between the upper surface and the biological tissue or prosthetic material when the biological tissue and/or prosthetic material is positioned in the channel,
- the first recess extends along the first longitudinal edge of the body, and
- the body further comprises a curved protrusion defining a concave portion of the upper surface.
