Abstract
A land preparation tool includes a cutting surface having a blade and a mounting interface opposite the cutting surface. The mounting interface of the land preparation tool is configured to detachably connect to a tool holder having a top surface, an end surface, a mounting surface opposite the end surface, and opposing first and second side surfaces extending between the end surface and the mounting surface. The mounting surface has an apex extending downwardly from the top surface and first and second mounting faces. The first mounting face extends inwardly from the first side surface toward the apex and the second mounting face extends inwardly from the second side surface toward the apex.
Claims29
A detachable land preparation tool comprising:
- a top surface;
- a bottom surface at an end of the tool, opposite the top surface;
- a cutting surface comprising a first blade, the first blade disposed adjacent to the top surface;
- a mounting surface disposed opposite the cutting surface, the mounting surface comprising first and second mounting surfaces;
- a first side surface extending between the first mounting surface and the cutting surface;
- a second side surface extending between the second mounting surface and the cutting surface;
- and
- a recess extending along the mounting surface from the top surface to the bottom surface and separating the first and second mounting surfaces;
- wherein each of the first and second mounting surfaces extending linearly inward from respective first and second side surfaces to the recess at a singular angular orientation relative to the respective first and second side surfaces;
- wherein the top and bottom surfaces extend between the cutting surface and first and second mounting surfaces.
A land preparation tool comprising:
- a first end;
- a second end, opposite the first end;
- a longitudinal axis extending between the first and second ends;
- a cutting surface disposed between the first and second ends, the cutting surface comprising a first blade disposed at the first end;
- a first mounting surface disposed between the first and second ends, opposite the cutting surface;
- a second mounting surface disposed between the first and second ends, opposite the cutting surface;
- a first side surface extending between the first mounting surface and the cutting surface, the intersection of the first side surface and the first mounting surface forming a first corner;
- a second side surface extending between the second mounting surface and the cutting surface, the intersection of the second side surface and the second mounting surface forming a second corner;
- and
- a recess extending from the first end to the second end along the longitudinal axis and separating the first and second mounting surfaces;
- wherein each of the first and second mounting surfaces extending linearly inward from respective first and second corners to the recess at a singular angular orientation relative to the respective first and second side surfaces.
A land preparation tool comprising:
- a tool body comprising:
- a first end;
- a second end opposite the first end;
- a longitudinal axis extending between the first and second ends;
- a cutting surface disposed on one side of the tool body, the cutting surface comprising a first blade disposed adjacent to the first end;
- a first mounting surface and a second mounting surface, each disposed on a side of the tool body opposite the cutting surface;
- a first side surface extending between the cutting surface and the first mounting surface such that a first corner is formed between the first side surface and the first mounting surface;
- a second side surface extending between the cutting surface and the second mounting surface such that a second corner is formed between the second side surface and the second mounting surface;
- and
- a recess extending from the first end to the second end and separating the first and second mounting surfaces, opposite the cutting surface;
- wherein:
- the first mounting surface extending linearly inward from the first corner to a first side of the recess at a singular angular orientation relative to the first side surface and
- the second mounting surface extending linearly inward from the second corner to a second side of the recess at a singular angular orientation relative to the second side surface.
A land preparation tool comprising:
- a first end portion;
- a second end portion opposite the first end portion;
- a cutting surface disposed on the tool body, the cutting surface comprising a first blade and a second blade;
- a recess opposite the cutting surface, the recess having a first side, a second side, opposite the first side, and a bottom wall connected to the first and second sides;
- a first mounting surface disposed adjacent the first side of the recess;
- a second mounting surface disposed adjacent the second side of the recess;
- a first side surface extending between the cutting surface and the first mounting surface;
- and
- a second side surface extending between the cutting surface and the second mounting surface opposite the first side surface;
- wherein:
- the first mounting surface declines linearly inward from the first side surface to the first side of the recess at a singular angular orientation relative to the first side surface,
- the second mounting surface declines linearly inward from the second side surface to the second side of the recess at a singular angular orientation relative to the second side surface, and
- the recess extending from the first end portion to the second end portion and positioned between the first and second mounting surfaces
- at a singular angular orientation relative to the respective first and second side surfaces.
