A hydrogen storage alloy consisting of single-phase alloy with an AB2 type crystal structure, wherein its A site consists of Ti and Zr, and its B site contains Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni and R elements, represented by the general Formula (I)

• 0≤e≤0.1;
• 0≤f≤0.5;
