Applicator for makeup product

An applicator comprising:

• a first leg comprising a first proximal end and a first distal end;
• a second leg comprising a second proximal and a second distal end;
• a first holder provided at the first distal end and comprising a first side;
• and
• a second holder provided at the second distal end and comprising a second side facing the first side;
• wherein
• the first leg and the second leg are pivotally attached to each other so that the applicator is able to switch between an open state wherein the first side and the second side are spaced apart and a closed state wherein the first side and the second side are in contact;
• the first side and second side are curved;
• and
• the first holder is provided with a first sliding groove extending along a direction in which the first side is curved along;
• the first leg is provided with a first pin at the first distal end that is engaged with the first sliding groove so that the first holder is able to slide relative to the first leg;
• the second holder is provided with a second sliding groove extending along a direction in which the second side is curved along;
• and
• the second leg is provided with a pin at the second distal end that is engaged with the second sliding groove so that the second holder is able to slide relative to the second leg.
