A surface type heating element comprising:
- a surface type heating element layer comprising:
- NiCr alloy powders;
- necks between powder particles of the NiCr alloy powders;
- passivation oxide layers formed on a surface of the NiCr alloy powders;
- and
- oxygen in an amount of about 1 wt % to about 3 wt % of the surface type heating element layer.
