Magnetic signature imprinting system

A magnetic signature imprinting system, comprising:

• an imprinting apparatus configured to operatively engage a medical device, the imprinting apparatus, comprising:
• a frame;
• a device engagement member coupled with the frame, the device engagement member configured to receive and position a signature portion of the medical device within an imprinting space of the frame;
• and
• a number of magnets selectively positionable with respect to the imprinting space via one or more magnet actuators coupled between the number of magnets and the frame;
• and
• a console coupled with the one or more magnet actuators, the console having a number of processors and a non-transitory computer-readable medium having logic stored thereon that, when executed by the number of processors, performs operations that include activating the one or more magnet actuators to (i) displace the number of magnets into an imprinting position defining a magnetic field within the imprinting space, the magnetic field configured to imprint a defined magnetic signature on the signature portion to define an imprinted magnetic signature and (ii) displace the number of magnets away from the imprinting position.
