Student accountability system

A method performed by a bus computing system for a bus, the method comprising:

• presenting, on a display of the bus computing system, a list of student names of students on the bus;
• presenting, on the display, a seating chart having seats with respective seating identifiers;
• receiving an input from a driver of the bus to associate a student name with a seat in the seating chart;
• and
• automatically presenting a corresponding seating identifier of the seat adjacent to the student name on the display.

A bus computing system for a bus, the bus computing system being configured to perform operations comprising:

• presenting, on a display of the bus computing system, a list of student names of students on the bus;
• presenting, on the display, a seating chart having seats with respective seating identifiers;
• receiving an input from a driver of the bus to associate a student name with a seat in the seating chart;
• and
• automatically presenting a corresponding seating identifier of the seat adjacent to the student name on the display.
