Stand for photographic equipment

A locking assembly of a stand for photographic equipment,

• the stand for photographic equipment comprising a pedestal and a platform, which are rotatably connected through a connecting member and a universal ball rotatably arranged inside the connecting member,
• the locking assembly configured to lock or unlock the universal ball and the connecting member relative to each other, and comprising:
• a support rod;
• a guiding member nested with the support rod;
• a locking pin connected to the support rod and engaged with the guiding member;
• a spring member for urging the guiding member;
• and
• a driving member for driving the guiding member to move,
• wherein the locking assembly is configured to make the locking pin move along the guiding member to a first fixed position or a second fixed position by pressing the driving member, wherein when the locking pin is located at the first fixed position, the guiding member locks the universal ball relative to the connecting member, and when the locking pin is located at the second fixed position, the guiding member unlocks the universal ball relative to the connecting member.
