A method for monitoring progress of a preheat cycle, comprising:

• at a start of a preheat cycle, receiving a baseline temperature measurement from a sensor;
• during the preheat cycle, receiving a plurality of current temperature measurements from the sensor;
• repeatedly calculating, at a controller, a percent progress of the preheat cycle from a baseline percent progress with the following

A method for monitoring progress of a preheat cycle, comprising:

• at a start of a preheat cycle, receiving a baseline temperature measurement from a sensor;
• during the preheat cycle, receiving a plurality of current temperature measurements from the sensor;
• repeatedly calculating, at a controller, a display temperature for the preheat cycle from a baseline display temperature with the following
