Stretchable display device

A method of manufacturing a stretchable display device, comprising:

• forming a temporary substrate having a plurality of stiff areas and an elastic area, the temporary substrate being on a subsidiary substrate;
• forming a first inorganic insulating material on the temporary substrate;
• forming a second inorganic insulating material on the first inorganic insulating material;
• forming a second inorganic insulating layer by selectively removing portions of the second inorganic insulating material placed in the elastic area;
• forming a third inorganic insulating material on the first inorganic insulating material and the second inorganic insulating layer;
• forming a first inorganic insulating layer and a third inorganic insulating layer by selectively removing portions of the first inorganic insulating material and the third inorganic insulating material placed in the elastic area to expose the elastic area;
• forming an organic insulating layer to cover an upper surface and a side surface of the third inorganic insulating layer;
• forming a plurality of connection lines connecting stiff areas adjacent to each other among the plurality of stiff areas on the organic insulating layer and the temporary substrate;
• and
• forming a plurality of first substrates in the plurality of stiff areas and a plurality of connection supports in the elastic area by selectively removing the temporary substrate placed in the elastic area except an area where the plurality of connection lines are located.
