Medium processing apparatus

A medium processing system comprising:

• a medium processing apparatus;
• and
• a side apparatus,
• wherein the medium processing apparatus comprises:
• a housing provided with a surface facing a user operating the medium processing apparatus;
• the surface of the medium processing apparatus including a first surface being obliquely with respect to a vertical direction and a second surface located below the first surface, the second surface having a vertical surface, each of the first surface and the second surface having a designated area located in a height range conforming to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standard with respect to the vertical direction;
• a display arranged on the first surface and configured to display information;
• a card reader arranged on the first surface;
• a printer arranged on the first surface;
• a PIN pad arranged on the designated area of the first surface and having mechanical keys;
• and
• a banknote dispensing port arranged on the designated area of the second surface,
• wherein the side apparatus comprises:
• a depositing unit;
• a housing provided with a surface facing the user operating the side apparatus;
• the surface of the side apparatus including a third surface being obliquely with respect to the vertical direction and a fourth surface located below the third surface, the fourth surface having a vertical surface, each of the third surface and the fourth surface having a designated area located in a height range conforming to the ADA standard with respect to the vertical direction;
• and
• a medium depositing port arranged on the designated area of the side apparatus,
• and
• wherein the medium processing apparatus and the side apparatus are configured so that the first surface of the medium processing apparatus and the third surface of the side apparatus are located in a corresponding height each other in the vertical direction, and the second surface of the medium processing apparatus and the fourth surface of the side apparatus are located in a corresponding height each other in the vertical direction.
