Delivery support apparatus, delivery support method, and computer-readable recording medium

A delivery support method performed by a computer and comprising:

• detecting a registered individual based on an image transmitted from a camera, by executing facial recognition using the image;
• specifying a destination of the individual, a schedule at the destination, and a baggage to be received at the destination for the individual detected;
• notifying a terminal device at the destination that the specified baggage will be received by the individual according to the specified schedule;
• and
• when the registered individual is detected from the image transmitted from any one of a plurality of cameras, comparing a position of the camera that has transmitted the image in which the individual has been detected with the specified the destination of the individual, and notifying the terminal device at the destination that the specified baggage has been received by the detected individual in accordance with a result of the comparison.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a program including instructions that cause a computer to carry out:

• detecting a registered individual based on an image transmitted from a camera, by executing facial recognition using the image;
• specifying a destination of the individual, a schedule at the destination, and a baggage to be received at the destination for the individual detected;
• notifying a terminal device at the destination that the specified baggage will be received by the individual according to the specified schedule;
• when the registered individual is detected from the image transmitted from any one of a plurality of cameras, comparing a position of the camera that has transmitted the image in which the individual has been detected with the specified the destination of the individual, and notifying the terminal device at the destination that the specified baggage has been received by the detected individual in accordance with a result of the comparison.
