Abstract
Systems and methods are disclosed herein that can detect at least one activity by parsing text from an operation of a consumer electronics device and determine that the at least one activity matches a risk scenario.
Claims20
A method for automatically protecting a consumer electronics device, the method comprising:
- detecting, by at least one processor, at least one activity by parsing text from an operation of the consumer electronics device, wherein the at least one activity is identified by the at least one processor as occurring in the future;
- determining, by the at least one processor, that the at least one activity matches a risk scenario;
- and
- causing automatic initiation, via a first software application, of a new backup of the consumer electronics device (i) in response to a determination that the at least one activity matches the risk scenario and (ii) prior to the occurrence of the at least one activity.

A system for automatically protecting a consumer electronics device, the system comprising:
- at least one processor configured to:
- detect at least one activity by parsing text from an operation of the consumer electronics device, wherein the at least one activity is identified as occurring in the future;
- determine that the at least one activity matches a risk scenario;
- and
- cause automatic initiation, via a first software application, of a new backup of the consumer electronics device (i) in response to a determination that the at least one activity matches the risk scenario and (ii) prior to the occurrence of the at least one activity.
