A system, comprising:

• a data store;
• and
• at least one computing device in communication with the data store, the at least one computing device being configured to:
• associate a unique identifier with a commerce good;
• receive a first query comprising a first value of a particular attribute and the unique identifier;
• receive a second query comprising a second value of the particular attribute and the unique identifier;
• determine a difference between the first value of the particular attribute and the second value of the particular attribute;
• determine that the difference between the first value and the second value meets a particular threshold;
• in response to the difference meeting the particular threshold, determine an authenticity of the commerce good;
• and
• upon receiving an indication of counterfeiting, prompting a user of the commerce good to provide a user identifying information.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium embodying a program that, when executed by at least one computing device, causes the at least one computing device to:

• associate a unique identifier with a commerce good;
• receive a first query comprising a first value of a particular attribute and the unique identifier;
• receive a second query comprising a second value of the particular attribute and the unique identifier;
• determine a difference between the first value of the particular attribute and the second value of the particular attribute;
• determine that the difference between the first value and the second value meets a particular threshold;
• in response to the difference meeting the particular threshold, determine an authenticity of the commerce good;
• and
• upon receiving an indication of counterfeiting, prompting a user of the commerce good to provide a user identifying information.
