Systems and methods for point of sale deposits

A method for executing, via a client device comprising one or more processors, a point-of-sale deposit, the method comprising:

• transmitting, to a server, a first request to initiate a deposit transaction, wherein the first request includes deposit information associated with a customer account;
• receiving, from the server, a transaction token associated with the first request, wherein the transaction token is encoded with the deposit information;
• generating a deposit code based on the transaction token;
• providing the deposit code to a merchant device, wherein the merchant device transmits a second request including information associated with the transaction token;
• and
• receiving, from the server, an indication that funds associated with the deposit transaction were deposited to the customer account.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer program instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, effectuates operations comprising:

• transmitting, to a server, a first request to initiate a deposit transaction, wherein the first request includes deposit information associated with a customer account;
• receiving, from the server, a transaction token associated with the first request, wherein the transaction token is encoded with the deposit information;
• generating a deposit code based on the transaction token;
• providing the deposit code to a merchant device, wherein the merchant device transmits a second request including information associated with the transaction token;
• and
• receiving, from the server, an indication that funds associated with the deposit transaction were deposited to the customer account.
