An electronic device, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory communicatively coupled to the at least one processor and storing instructions that upon execution by the at least one processor cause the device to:
• determine a target document;
• display, based on an association between the target document and an associated document, document information of the associated document, wherein the document information of the associated document comprises a first document having a first reference relationship with the target document, and/or a second document having a second reference relationship with the target document;
• the first reference relationship indicates that the associated document refers to the target document, and the second reference relationship indicates that the target document refers to the associated document;
• wherein the document information of the associated document comprises multiple first reference text units;
• wherein the display, based on an association between the target document and an associated document, document information of the associated document comprises:
• display the first reference text units, wherein first reference text unit is a text unit in the first document referring to the target document;
• wherein the first document refers to the target document for a plurality of times, and the display the first reference text units comprises:
• determine a display order of the first reference text units in the document information of the associated document, based on an order of the first reference text units in the first document.

A computer readable non-transitory medium, bearing computer-readable instructions that upon execution on a computing device cause the computing device at least to:

• determine a target document;
• display, based on an association between the target document and an associated document, document information of the associated document, wherein the document information of the associated document comprises a first document having a first reference relationship with the target document, and/or a second document having a second reference relationship with the target document;
• the first reference relationship indicates that the associated document refers to the target document, and the second reference relationship indicates that the target document refers to the associated document;
• wherein the document information of the associated document comprises multiple first reference text units;
• wherein the display, based on an association between the target document and an associated document, document information of the associated document comprises:
• display the first reference text units, wherein first reference text unit is a text unit in the first document referring to the target document;
• wherein the first document refers to the target document for a plurality of times, and the display the first reference text units comprises:
• determine a display order of the first reference text units in the document information of the associated document, based on an order of the first reference text units in the first document.
