System and methods for massive data management and tagging

A system for automated file linking, the system comprising:

• at least one database server comprising stored data comprising a set of files, each of the files in the set of files comprising a digital file, at least some of the files comprising metadata;
• and
• at least one physical server configured to:
• create a sample set of files from the set of files;
• identify common metadata between files in the sample set of files;
• identify at least one link, wherein a link comprises the common metadata between files in the sample set of files;
• identify files in the set of files, each of the identified files containing the link in their metadata;
• generate an association between the files containing the link in their metadata;
• store the association between the files containing the link in their metadata;
• select at least one file from the set of files;
• identify a DICOM tag associated with each of the at least one files, the tag comprising a key-value pair;
• convert the DICOM tag into a single string;
• generate a document model associated with the selected file, the document model comprising a field portion comprising a plurality of fields, each of which plurality of fields is configured to contain a string;
• input the single string into one field of the plurality fields;
• receive a search request for searching in set of file;
• and
• search the document model based on the search request.
