A camera device comprising:

• a lens driving device;
• and
• a lens supported by the lens support body, wherein
• the lens driving device includes:
• a movable body including a lens support body:
• and
• a base configured to support the movable body so as to be able to move in a lens optical axis direction;
• wherein
• the base includes a base body formed from a resin and having a rectangular plate shape when viewed along the lens optical axis direction, and an unsplit continuous rectangular ring shaped metal member embedded in the base body;
• and
• the unsplit continuous rectangular ring shaped metal member is formed with a projecting portion protruded outward from and facing outward at each of four sides of a rectangular ring shape and exposed from the base.

An electronic apparatus comprising the camera device including:

• a lens driving device;
• and
• a lens supported by the lens support body, wherein
• the lens driving device includes:
• a movable body including a lens support body:
• and
• a base configured to support the movable body so as to be able to move in a lens optical axis direction;
• wherein
• the base includes a base body formed from a resin and having a rectangular plate shape when viewed along the lens optical axis direction, and an unsplit continuous rectangular ring shaped metal member embedded in the base body;
• and
• the unsplit continuous rectangular ring shaped metal member is formed with a projecting portion protruded outward from and facing outward at each of four sides of a rectangular ring shape and exposed from the base.
