Abstract
A novel maize variety designated 1PCAS30 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant comprise crossing maize variety 1PCAS30 with another maize plant are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into 1PCAS30 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are provided. Hybrid maize seed, plants or plant parts are produced by crossing the variety 1PCAS30 or a locus conversion of 1PCAS30 with another maize variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of maize line 1PCAS30, representative seed of the maize line 1PCAS30 having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202106056.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell derived from maize line 1PCAS30, representative seed of the maize line 1PCAS30 having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202106056, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises a locus conversion, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the locus conversion and otherwise comprises all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize line 1PCAS30 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
An F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a converted plant or plant part derived from maize line 1PCAS30, representative seed of the line having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202106056 with a different maize plant, wherein the converted plant or plant part comprises a transgene that is inherited by the F1 hybrid seed, wherein the transgene was introduced into a seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of maize line 1PCAS30 by (i) backcrossing to otherwise recover substantially all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize line 1PCAS30 or (ii) genetic transformation.
