De-centralized high risk actions on coordinated computer systems

A database system implemented using a server system, the database system configurable to cause:

• receiving configuration management data from a configuration management system, the configuration management data including information corresponding to a plurality of nodes across one or more coordinated systems;
• pushing, via a monitoring system, a high risk action to be performed on a subset of the plurality of nodes, based on one or more monitoring signals, into a substrate metadata system;
• retrieving, from the substrate metadata system, the high risk action to be performed at a target node in the plurality of nodes;
• determining by the target node without input from a centralized point solution, using health signals at the target node, whether to perform the high risk action or to defer performing the high risk action until other nodes are processed;
• updating a status indicator regarding performance of the high risk action;
• and
• transmitting the updated status indicator to the monitoring system via the substrate metadata system.

A computer program product comprising computer-readable program code capable of being executed by one or more processors when retrieved from a non-transitory computer-readable medium, the program code comprising instructions configurable to cause:

• receiving configuration management data from a configuration management system, the configuration management data including information corresponding to a plurality of nodes across one or more coordinated systems;
• pushing, via a monitoring system, a high risk action to be performed on a subset of the plurality of nodes, based on one or more monitoring signals, into a substrate metadata system;
• retrieving, from the substrate metadata system, the high risk action to be performed at a target node in the plurality of nodes;
• determining by the target node without input from a centralized point solution, using health signals at the target node, whether to perform the high risk action or to defer performing the high risk action until other nodes are processed;
• updating a status indicator regarding performance of the high risk action;
• and
• transmitting the updated status indicator to the monitoring system via the substrate metadata system.
