Transmission device and transmission method

A receiving device comprising:

• a receiver configured to receive a first signal and a second signal;
• and
• a processor configured to generate a first baseband signal and a second baseband signal by performing a receiving process on the first signal and the second signal, the receiving process corresponding to a transmitting process, wherein
• the transmitting process includes:
• generating a first precoded signal and a second precoded signal by performing a precoding process on the first baseband signal and the second baseband signal, respectively;
• generating the first signal by inserting a pilot signal into the first precoded signal;
• applying a phase change of i×Δλ to the second precoded signal, where i is a symbol number and an integer that is greater than or equal to 0, and Δλ=π−π/m radians, where m is an integer that is greater than 3;
• inserting a pilot signal into the second precoded signal applied with the phase change;
• generating the second signal by applying a phase change to the second precoded signal applied with the phase change and inserted with the pilot signal;
• and
• transmitting the first signal and the second signal.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program configured to cause a transmitting device to perform:

• generating a first precoded signal and a second precoded signal by performing a precoding process on a first baseband signal and a second baseband signal, respectively;
• generating a first signal by inserting a pilot signal into the first precoded signal;
• applying a phase change of i×Δλ to the second precoded signal, where i is a symbol number and an integer that is greater than or equal to 0, and Δλ=π−π/m radians, where m is an integer that is greater than 3;
• inserting a pilot signal into the second precoded signal applied with the phase change;
• generating a second signal by applying a phase change to the second precoded signal applied with the phase change and inserted with the pilot signal;
• and
• transmitting the first signal and the second signal.
