Power detection in the time domain on a periodic basis with statistical counters

A system of a radio system, comprising a processor and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:

• analyzing power data in a time domain that is sorted according to a power value threshold;
• storing the power data in the time domain in data storage, wherein the power data in the time domain is stored into a group of bins of the data storage based on the sorting of the power data in the time domain;
• and
• aligning different sets of the power data in the time domain with respect to one another based on respective different time ranges of the time domain,
• wherein the different time ranges comprise different periods of time across a time range, and wherein the different periods have different lengths of time.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processor facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:

• aligning different sets of power data values, of power data in a time domain that has been collected, with one another based on respective different time ranges of the time domain,
• wherein the different time ranges comprise different periods of time across a time range, and wherein the different periods have different lengths of time;
• in response to the aligning, counting respective quantities of power data values at respective bins of a group of bins;
• and
• in response to the counting, triggering a radio system modification event at a radio system from which the different sets of power data values were collected.
