Abstract
A battery module includes a plurality of battery cells assemblies, each having a plurality of battery cells stacked on each other; and at least one cooling unit provided between the plurality of battery cells assemblies and filled with a predetermined coolant therein, the at least one cooling unit having at least one membrane member provided at one end thereof to be opened or closed according to a change of an internal pressure thereof.
Claims11
A battery module, comprising:
- a plurality of battery cells assemblies, each battery cells assembly of the plurality of battery cells assemblies having a plurality of battery cells stacked on each other;
- and
- at least one cooler provided between the plurality of battery cells assemblies and filled with a coolant therein, the at least one cooler having a main case having at least one membrane hole and a cover case having a membrane filter covering the at least one membrane hole to seal the at least one membrane hole to be opened or closed according to a change of an internal pressure of the cooler.
