Electrolyte solution for secondary battery and secondary battery including the same

An electrolyte solution for a secondary battery comprising a lithium salt, a non-aqueous organic solvent, and a silatrane-based compound represented by Chemical Formula 1:

• wherein, in Chemical Formula 1, each X includes an oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen or phosphorus atom and Xs are same,
• R1 is an electron donating group, C1 to C10 linear alkyl group substituted with an electron donating group, C3 to C10 branched alkyl group substituted with an electron donating group, C3 to C10 cyclic alkyl group substituted with an electron donating group, or −R1′—Nu,
• the electron donating group includes one or more of a hydroxyl group, an alkoxy group, a primary to tertiary amine group, a thiol group, a sulfide group, a vinyl group and a halide group, R1′ is a C1 to C5 linear alkyl group or branched alkyl group, and Nu is an imine group or a cyano group;
• and
• R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, and R7 are selected from a group consisting of H, a C1 to C6 linear alkyl group, branched alkyl group, and cyclic alkyl group,
• wherein the silatrane-based compound is included in an amount of 0.1 parts by weight to 5.0 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the electrolyte solution for a secondary battery.
