Abstract
Some embodiments of the disclosure provide for a lighting system including a substrate. The lighting system includes several blue light emitting diodes (LEDs) supported by the substrate. The lighting system includes at least one red LED supported by the substrate. The lighting system includes a light conversion material covering the blue LEDs and the at least one red LED.
Claims6
A lighting system, comprising:
- a substrate;
- a first string of light emitting diodes (LEDs) comprising a plurality of blue light emitting diodes (LEDs) supported by the substrate and at least one red LED supported by the substrate, wherein the at least one red LED is surrounded by the plurality of blue LEDs;
- a second string of LEDs electrically parallel to the first string of LEDs, wherein the second string of LEDs comprises a plurality of blue LEDs and at least one red LED;
- and
- a light conversion material covering the plurality of blue LEDs and the at least one red LED on the first string.
