Methods and systems for internet speed testing

An apparatus comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a memory storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
• determine, based on a network performance request from a user device and network performance data of a plurality of devices, at least one comparable user device of the plurality of devices and at least one comparable network device of the plurality of devices;
• determine a performance parameter of the at least one comparable user device and a performance parameter of the at least one comparable network device;
• and
• determine, based on the performance parameter, that the user device is not negatively impacting a network condition.

A method comprising:

• determining, based on a network performance request from a user device and network performance data of a plurality of devices, at least one comparable user device of the plurality of devices and at least one comparable network device of the plurality of devices;
• determining a performance parameter of the at least one comparable user device and a performance parameter of the at least one comparable network device;
• and
• determining, based on the performance parameter, that the user device is negatively impacting a network condition.

An apparatus comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a memory storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
• determine, based on a network performance request from a user device and network performance data of a plurality of devices, at least one comparable user device of the plurality of devices and at least one comparable network device of the plurality of devices;
• determine a performance parameter of the at least one comparable user device and a performance parameter of the at least one comparable network device;
• and
• determine, based on the performance parameter, that the user device is negatively impacting a network condition.
