Personalized sound management and method

A device comprising:

• a microphone configured to measure sound and generate a microphone signal;
• a user interface;
• a memory configured to store instructions;
• a data buffer configured to store at least a portion of the microphone signal;
• a second memory configured to store data;
• a processor operatively coupled to the memory, the processor operatively coupled to the audio buffer, the processor operatively coupled to the data buffer, wherein the processor is configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:
• receiving the microphone signal;
• sending a portion of the microphone signal to the data buffer;
• analyzing the data buffer for detecting a sonic signature;
• retrieving sound data from the microphone if the sonic signature is detected;
• sending a portion of the sound data to a remote server;
• determining a user request in the portion of the sound data, wherein the determination is accomplished by the remote server or a second server;
• retrieving a first data in response to the user request, wherein the remote server or the second server or a third server retrieves the first data;
• sending the first data to the device and storing the first data in the second memory;
• retrieving the first data from the second memory;
• and
• sending the first data to the user interface.
